Camp Health & Safety Reminders:
CUBOREE is a Pack Camping opportunity. We have all of the activities planned for a day of fun. You may camp on Friday and Saturday night. All activities are planned for the day on Saturday and we will close out the day with an amazing Campfire.
CUBOREE STAFFING
We are a volunteer organization! Cuboree is organized as a co-operative venture among the participating Packs from our District. Each Pack is expected to provide at least one adult staff (registered as Staff). District event committee will provide planning, organization, and supplies. Volunteers will be required from each unit to help event staff with sanitation of all activity and program supplies throughout the event.
CAMPING AND PARKING
All cars will be parked in the main parking and MUST follow ALL directions and signs posted. THERE IS NO PARKING ALLOWED AT THE CAMPSITES. NO RIDERS IN THE BED OF TRUCKS OR TRAILERS.
Camping will be by Pack and in an assigned campsite. Due to the size and participation in this event, it may be necessary for packs to share a campsite. Please refrain from roping off your camping area. Tent camping only, no campers or RV's will be allowed in the camp. Only Scouts, siblings, and adults from the same household may tent together during this event. Campsites must be set up to encourage and maintain social distancing as much as possible.
Bring your own TOILET PAPER AND TRASH BAGS.
IMPORTANT — EVENT POLICIES
EACH SCOUT MUST HAVE A RESPONSIBLE ADULT FAMILY MEMBER OR GUARDIAN ACCOMPANY THEM TO CUBOREE ACCORDING TO THE BSA GUIDELINES.
Radios, boom boxes, bicycles, two-way radios, guns, fireworks, fixed blade knives, axes, hatchets, chain saws, PETS, and alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed. Basically, anything that could be a safety concern for our participants or a nuisance to others should NOT be brought to this event. All BSA and Circle Ten Council campground policies must be followed. Smoking is not permitted in the camp. If you must smoke, please use your personal vehicle in the parking lot. Campfires are only permitted in established fire rings. Units may NOT dig new fire pits. Be sure you have gained approval from the Ranger to build fires in your campsite. Be sure all campfires are completely out (no heat/embers) before leaving the campsite for activities, retiring for the night, and before you check out on Sunday. A fire check will be made and you will be asked to extinguish the fire if no one is tending it.
Be prepared for adverse weather.
